Some people just aren't dog people. Or cat, bird or goldfish people, for that matter. Some like their pets a bit on the reptilian side. If you're one of them, the All Maryland Reptile Show Saturday, at the Havre de Grace Community Center, may just be your thing. Visitors can examine more than 80 tables of live reptiles, reptile books, food supplies and cages and other equipment, or buy, sell and trade reptiles. All animals must be contained in cages or aquariums. No venomous reptiles or endangered species are permitted.
The show runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Havre de Grace Community Center, 100 Lagaret Lane, Havre de Grace. $4. Call 410-526-4184.

Pitbull awareness day
pitbull awareness day
Event Date: October 18, 2008
It is time to dispel the ignorance and realities around this breed and teach responsible pet ownership A pit needs an owner who is willing to show positive leadership and spend time training their pooch. A pit may not be the right dog for you, but ignorance is not a reason to not adopt or ban a breed. Education is the Key.
This is a huge event and will need teams of people to make this successful
