Global Pet Expo teams PIDA with the American Pet Products Association to introduce the year's hottest new products. It's the pet industry's premier event for both buyers and sellers, where new products, product lines and line extensions are launched. Exhibiting is open to Distributor and Associate members of PIDA, and members of APPA. For more information, visit the show site at www.globalpetexpo.org.
WHY Should You Encourage Your Customers to Attend?
Our best show recruitment tools have always been our members’ sales professionals who are calling on pet dealers every day. The income PIDA earns as a co-sponsor of Global Pet Expo allows us to offer programs such as Pet Store Pro free of charge to your customers, building strong independent businesses that can offer a unique level of personal service and knowledge.
Global Pet Expo Academy
PIDA has invested heavily in the Global Pet Expo seminars aimed to help retailers grow their businesses. The better educated your retailers are, the better they will be as customers of your distribution company. The 2014 lineup is packed with experts who know the challenges your customers face, and offer new ideas and tactics to face them. These business-building seminars are presented by the retail industry’s most knowledgeable and dynamic speakers.
Now Accepting 2015 Speaker Proposals
We endeavor to present a wide range of subjects that are relevant to successful management of a retail pet store. Past topics have included customer service and sales, merchandising, social media marketing, financial management, employee relations and animal care. If you are interested in being a speaker at the 2015 Global Pet Expo, complete the Speaker Engagement Request form and submit to PIDA, attention: Steve King. Deadline to receive proposals is Thursday, July 31, 2014.
Did you KNOW?
Less than 5% of all Global Pet Expo attendees listed a distributor on their registration form last year.
We know that there are many more retailers attending the show who were referred by our distributor members.
I forgot my own challenge. Not surprising considering I barely slept this weekend.
Friday night, headed out to WV to go to the Weston State Hospital. Stopped in Morgantown on the way there, and had some way yummy pizza. The hospital building was creepy enough by itself, the haunted house scared the hell out of me. Afterwards we talked to the people that set it up, and they told us numerous stories about actual hauntings of the building. I was originally going to do an overnight there. Not so much anymore, I'm good, I know it's haunted, my fiances going to go and I'm staying home with the dog!
Saturday had one adoption, ate at my favorite lebanese restaurant, and figured out that I'm going to be Misfits Danzig for halloween which lead to me dying my hair black and destroying my bathroom
