Attention animal lovers. Harrisburg is the place for you to be this weekend.
Four days of horse competition,education,entertainment and shopping arrives Thursday at the 12th annual Pennsylvania World Horse Expo at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center.
On Saturday and Sunday,the National Pet Expo also will be held at the Farm Show Complex. A discounted combination ticket is available.
Horse show highlights include "Theatre Equus,A Musical Equine Revue, " in which humans and horses partner in feats of daring and beauty,with music,lighting and narration. Shows are at 8:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Tickets are extra and cost $12-24.
The Trail Champions Challenge features competitors navigating an obstacle course. The Equi-tainment Musical Equine Variety Show will feature drill teams,freestyle dressage,western dressage and tricks.
Stars of the Thoroughbred Makeover feature four of the competitors from the Retired Racehorse Training Project's Thoroughbred Makeover and National Symposium held at Pimlico Racecourse in October.
Vendors will fill 500 booths. At Breed Row and Stallion Avenue,you can learn about horse breeds.
The Horse World Expo runs noon-8 p.m. Thursday,10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday,9 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday sand 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Admission: $12; $6,ages 6-12; free,under 6. Info: HorseWorldExpo.com.
The National Pet Expo includes dog competitions; an all-breed cat show; pet talent show; reptile display; vendor booths; show by John Lege,That Guy with the Birds,and celebrity appearances,including Victoria Stilwell from the Animal Planet show "It's Me or The Dog."

Which brand are you looking at?
Was around half off the prices of the Interstyle glass tiles. Call around if you know the brand. Walker Zanger has a warehouse in Hayward (see their website) and gave me the 20% contractor's discount. They are expensive, but their tile is beautiful. Home Expo sucks, like home despot...great place to look though.

They have a good website, knowledgable staff and have really decent delivery prices. After looking around quite a bit, I bought from them. I don't know if they install or what their prices are for that,though. HOme Expo has REALLY expensive deliver prices and their staff is not that great. They also have a great selection on the showroom floor (this was in Concord). They have other locations, too, though.
Style-challenged bathroom tile help?
Our bathroom is on it's way back from being gutted, and i need to pick out tile for the floor and shower. however i have no sense of style to speak of and my usual hangouts (home depot, lowes and HD expo) are not helping much...
i am hoping to find a place with different tile ideas/displays to help me out, since i can't come up with anything decent on my own! do specific stores do this? i found a website or two, but with only a few pictures.
