The 12th annual CBS 6 Healthy Lifestyle Expo takes place today, Saturday, Feb. 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Richmond Convention Center.

This year’s special guest star, Olympian Shannon Miller, the most decorated gymnast in U.S. history, will inspire women to lead healthy and balanced lives.
Miller took home a staggering 59 international and 49 nation competitive medals. Her record of five medals (2 silver, 3 bronze) during the 1992 Olympics was the most medals won by any athlete in any sport. In January of 2011, Miller was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and shared her journey with the public.
Dr. Oz’s fat fighting couple, Billy Blanks Jr. and Sharon Catherine Blanks, will get families moving at this year’s expo with their “Dance it Out” workout.
During the recession this couple fought hard to make their business a success. Now, they have triumphed with the launch of their, internationally known, “ Dance It Out” workouts.

The expo also provides free health screenings, fun activities and information on products and services relating to healthy living.
Expo admission is $3 for adults. Kids 12 and under get in free. A portion of the proceeds from this year’s expo will support Rebuild Richmond Together.
