Oh. My. God. (warning: rant)
So, I volunteered to man a table for 9 hours today at the wholistic health expo and my co-volunteer was someone I had never met before. (We were promoting our candidate for prez. 'Politics at a holistic fair?' you ask in a perplexed tone, perhaps tilting your head to convey puzzlement. "Yes, a candidate for prez who is an advocate for 'health freedom' and legalizing hemp and weed" I say back).
ANYHOO, As we are pulling out literature, I see she pulls out some "Weston A Price" booklets with her name stamped on the bottom.
"Ugh," I thought to myself. Ugh
Holy crap, tea party folks are psychotic.
Even Rick Perry, record holder for most executions, thinks they're going a bit far with the enthusiasm for letting someone without insurance die untreated. Nice Christian morals there folks.
"If you're uninsured and on the brink of death, that's apparently a laughing matter to some audience members at last night's tea party Republican presidential debate.
Texas Rep. Ron Paul, a doctor, was asked a hypothetical question by CNN host Wolf Blitzer about how society should respond if a healthy 30-year-old man who decided against buying health insurance suddenly goes into a coma and requires intensive care for six months
Good decent Americans reject the teabaggers
For example: Audience at tea party debate cheers leaving uninsured to die
If you're uninsured and on the brink of death, that's apparently a laughing matter to some audience members at last night's tea party Republican presidential debate.
Texas Rep. Ron Paul, a doctor, was asked a hypothetical question by CNN host Wolf Blitzer about how society should respond if a healthy 30-year-old man who decided against buying health insurance suddenly goes into a coma and requires intensive care for six months. Paul--a fierce limited-government advocate-- said it shouldn't be the government's responsibility
